CUBIGAMI is a grid of strategically arranged tiles. In a twist on the flat pack, seven solid forms can be shaped from one tile mat. The challenge within this project was not only the creation of the seven solid shapes but in how the grid would be fixed together ensuring that each tile holds its position once moved.
The tiles are simply made from top and base housings incorporating all functional details and are fixed using a process of ultra sonic welding.
